O melhor que posso dizer, esta música foi simplesmente criada pelo estúdio da Warner Bros. (onde a série é gravada). Este foi o meu palpite por um tempo. Eu recebi vários e-mails de pessoas me apoiando nessa conclusão. Uma pessoa se lembra de ter lido um informativo oficial de Friends da Warner Bros., declarando isso. Outra pessoa disse ter ouvido a mesma música em outros episódios da série, tocada na mudança de uma cena para outra. Por exemplo, foi usada durante a cena inicial do episódio 316, The One The Morning After, durante o "no episódio anterior, em Friends" recapitulando o último episódio.

Para aquele que acham que já ouviram a música em outro lugar, aqui estão algumas músicas parecidas: para algumas pessoas ela lembra muitas músicas do U2, como Where the Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, With or Without You, Pride (In the Name of Love). Mas eu conferi todas elas e nenhuma bate com a da série. Outra pessoa jurou que é She Sells Sanctuary, do The Cult. Eu ouvi, e apesar de ter algumas similaridades, conclui que também não era a mesma.
Certamente, estão bem-vindos aqueles que puderem identificar uma música que seja a mesma tocada na série. Ou se alguém que ajudou a fazer o episódio ou selecionar música ler isto e souber responder me avise.

Depois que eles trocaram os jogadores, passando a ser meninos contra meninas,

Era uma versão de guitarra da música tema de Friends, "I'll be there for you."
Nas cenas do "New Year's Rockin' Eve", foram usadas três músicas:E a música que tocou quando Joey e Janine finalmente se beijaram é uma versão moderna de Auld Lang Syne (uma música tradicional de Ano Novo). Eu não sei de quem é esta versão e nem se está disponível em CD.
Eu não pude identificar que música foi usada. Eu tenho um arquivo de som da cena. Talvez você possa identificar.
Esta cena também foi mostarada durante o especial dos
erros de gravação de Friends que foi ao ar nos EUA em fevereiro de 2000. Naquela
circunstância, uma música diferente foi usada: Shake

Mais tarde, nos comerciais que continham essa cena, a música que estava tocando era He is Everything You Want, do Veritcal Horizon.

Bem, eu vi 3 propagandas diferentes com 3 músicas
diferentes. Uma das propagandas mostrava Ross no elevador e Rachel dizendo "Ok"
para Joey, e uma música que tinha na letra "... to your heart".
Essa é Let My Love Open the Door, do Pete Townshend.
Outra propaganda era de todas as comédias da NBC, e a música tinha
na letra "Come along now, come along with me". Essa é Come
Along, de Titiyo.
A terceira propaganda tinha apenas uma música instrumental, que eu não
reconheci.
